1. Arc’Teryx Beta Men’s Rain Jackets
One thing I like about Arc’Teryx’s Beta Men’s Rain Jackets is that they have a variety to choose from. For example, they have AR (all round), LT (lightweight), and Insulated versions.
What makes Arc’Teryx Beta Rain Jackets waterproof and windproof is the outer 3-layer shell material Gore®Tex. And their Gore®C-KNIT Backer Technology makes the material breathable as well.
The Gore®C-KNIT Backer layer is made of a very fine circular knit fabric. These fine yarns are also slightly stretchy and have a softer, more natural feel. All the fabrics in this jacket are all PFC-free.

This jacket has PitZips to increase ventilation during heavy activity. GORE-TEX®naturally increases its breathability as you heat up anyway, but the PitZips is a nice feature to increase the ventilation when needed. The seam taping of the above three jackets adds to their rain protection.

Its price is on the high side for this list. However, like all these jackets, its quality is right up there and built to last with a 100% recycled polyester outer for rugged protection. This jacket also has PitZips to allow for extra ventilation when you are active and need it.
